The study, conducted by dental implant information website, Click4teeth.com, revealed that patients can expect to pay an average of £2,334 for a single tooth implant in the UK.
Comparatively, an implant-supported full arch bridge or denture will cost, on average, £13,425.
The table shows the survey results in full, highlighting least expensive and most expensive treatments costs of those surveyed, and the mean cost of treatment. The least expensive implant treatment cited was a single-tooth implant at £1,700, a difference of £1,300 when compared to the most expensive fee quoted for the same treatment, at £3,000.
Meanwhile, the most expensive treatment was quoted by one implant dentist as £25,400 for an implant-supported full arch bridge or denture. The same treatment was also priced at £9,000 by another implant dentist surveyed – representing a £16,400 difference.
