The speakers
Carl Horton
Carl Horton is passionate about dentistry and has travelled the world sharing his knowledge and lecturing extensively on treatment models and his pioneering research. After graduating from Birmingham Dental Hospital in 1996 Carl worked predominately in private general practice. He went on to complete an MSc in periodontology and implant dentistry.
Carl, has lectured on international platforms in San Francisco, Gothenburg and Athens.
James Hamill
James has been a dental implant surgeon for over 20 years. While he is still a practising clinician, in 2018 he left full time dentistry to combine his clinical work with running his surgical dental supply company, Quintess Dental, the Neodent distributor for Ireland.
In 2019 he established Quoris3D, a dental laboratory, specialising in 3D printing, digital implant planning and guided surgery, becoming the first clinician outside the US to use their fully guided, end to end, full arch implant system, CHROME GuidedSMILE.
Since then he has trained over 150 dentists in the UK and Ireland on the use of this system.
Tom Murphy
Tom Murphy is a dental surgeon who has a practice mainly limited to dental implants and full mouth rehabilitation. Graduating from Queen’s University Belfast, he spent several years working in oral and maxillofacial surgery units across the United Kingdom.
Through his career he has completed his membership exams from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, a master’s degree in clinical implant dentistry, a diploma in medical and dental education and is currently carrying out a diploma in periodontal surgery.
Currently, Tom works in private practice where his focus is providing full arch dental implant surgeries, in addition to lecturing and mentoring across the UK and Ireland.
