Find out more about the Implantiem and Versah UK Ski Congress 2024, taking place in France in March.
The third Implantiem and Versah UK Ski Congress is taking place in Les Arcs, France from 9-13 March 2024. Nestled high in the Alps the ski-in-ski-out location of Arc 1950 is great for skiers of all levels, from beginners to the most advanced, with plenty for non-skiers to do too.
High calibre international speakers are lecturing on a range of implant subjects that are not brand specific, and this year we are focusing primarily on minimising bone loss. We promise that whatever your implant experience you will learn tips and techniques that you can implement into your practice upon your return.
Speaker lineup
Our lineup of speakers is listed below. The full details of their lecture titles can be found on our ski congress website: eur.cvent.me/eD7dP.
- Mariano Sanz and Ignacio Sanz Sanchez (Spain)
- Magda Mensi and Diego Lops (Italy)
- Christopher Leach (UK)
- Andrew Fennell (UK)
- Ziv Mazor (Israel)
- Guy McClellan (UK)
- Christopher Butterworth (UK).
With 12 hours of implant related CPD lectures that fit around skiing time, the congress allows delegates to mix informally with each other and the lecturers. This was the primary aim when we established the ski congress in 2020. With a welcome dinner taking place on the first evening, this will certainly break the ice.
Learn to ski
During the day, the Implantiem team are able to show the skiers and snow boarders the resort and find the best lunch and beer spots. For those new to the sport, we can arrange beginner’s ski or snowboarding lessons. For those who do not want to ski, you can enjoy the luxury spa, mountain village and join us on guided walks to the top of the highest peak (using the lift system!).
If you wish to bring your spouse along, we have a non-delegate spouse package that you can add to your booking.
The Implantiem team have all the information you will need and can advise on ski hire, lessons and lift passes that suit your requirements.
‘An amazing experience’
Eimear O’Connell attended the ski congress last year. Here are her thoughts about the trip:
‘What an amazing experience to be able to combine high level education with fun on the slopes. It was perfect in every way. There was ample opportunity to meet and get to know your fellow colleagues.
‘It is one of the best resorts in Europe and if you want skiing, socialising, and science – this is what you’ll get…. I’ve made new friends and reacquainted with old ones…. Inspirational!’
If you are looking for a way to learn, earn CPD, meet fellow colleagues and have fun at the same time, then please join us.
